What's New?
You know what they say about the best of intentions. Well, my intentions had been to change things
on this web site every month. Maybe that was an unrealistic plan. At least when you consider the way
the best plan often go. Yes, I'm too tired to even come up with something of my own.

Seriously, life has been a little rough the last few months, but today I had a choice of cleaning my
kitchen or one of a dozen or more other things around the house that have a similarity with the
kitchen in that they require cleaning. I pushed guilt aside, since my mother isn't stopping in until
Friday and won't see the mess, and decided it was time to do a different type of cleaning. My web site!

I hope you will note I have archived some of my articles and the short story I had posted, and have
replaced them with several others. I hope you will enjoy them!

As for me, well times have been difficult for everyone, and I'm no exception. I have been writing, but
for other people. My next novel in the "Everyday Heros" series has been put on the back burner for
now. However, I suspect the same rebelious streak that said, "Forget the cleaning!" will attack me
like Spring Fever and have me turning to what I want to do and not what I have to do.

Oh my, that "have to" thing again. Is it really a reality that we have to do something. Or, is it true we
only have to live, die and pay taxes? Just a second while I ponder that question. . . . The way I see it,
cleanliness is not lext to godliness. Not near. Our love and obedience to the Lord should be above all
earthly things. The way I see it dust and all that are makes it necessary to clean in the first place are
earthly things. Heaven will be perfect, so there will be no dust!

All that means that I should be doing what will bring glory to God, and the way I do that is with my
writing. Now that I've almost convinced myself that should be writing, not cleaning, I will ask the rest
of you what you think. Please send me your votes and I'll get back to you with the results.
