PENNSYLVANIA COUPLE'S
MINISTRY ON WHEELS
Sixty-seven year old Ray Langan, and his sixty-three year old wife Jean are two Pottstown,
Pennsylvania residents who have been known to mingle with some notorious people. Like members
of such infamous gangs as, Warlocks and Pagans to name a few. But the Langans, are not alone.
They are part of a motorcycle club that is larger than any one of those other groups, the Christian
Motorcyclists Association, CMA.

"CMA has an active membership of about 90,000 members from around the world," explained Ray.
"We have members in Canada, South America, Europe, South Africa, Australia and throughout parts
of Europe."

"The mission of the group is to reach the unsaved whether by motorcycle or by other means," added
Jean, who joined CMA with her husband in 1986. "And you don't have to ride a motorcycle to be
involved."

The two have proved that recently when Ray had to give up riding due to on-going health concerns.

This couple continues to join in many of the rallies and other events sponsored by both Christian and
secular bike organizations, some taking them to locations up and down the East Coast.

This May Ray joined members and supporters from across the US when he drove his car in CMA's
biggest annual fundraising event, the "Run for the Son". This one hundred mile ride is set up by local
chapters, similar to the Agape Riders, the chapter to which the Langan's belong.

Riding their motorcycles to raise funds isn't the only thing members of CMA do, though it might be
considered the least dangerous. Ray and Jean explain how they often mingle among hard core
bikers, trying to tell them about salvation.
